The project was initiated by CNN's Pamela Brown, who embedded with a Christian community in Moscow, Idaho. The preview for the special focused on the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk as a crucial moment for “Cenamic Nationalism” and suggested that a large segment of American Christians were radicalized by these ideas. The term has been used by the left as a label for any Christian who consistently aligns with our faith outside of church.
