Girl, 10, Airlifted to Hospital After School Bus Collides With Jeep in Georgia

A 10-year-old girl was seriously injured after her Jeep collided with a school bus in Georgia. The incident occurred at around 7:26 a.m. local time on Monday, April 20. The Jeep was traveling west on GA 520 at Mixon Abbott Road when the school bus attempted to turn left, causing it to hit the left side of the vehicle. The girl was ejected from the Jeep and airlifted to a hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. The driver of the Jeep, Karina Soto, and two other children were also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
