Richard Kahn, the accountant and attorney for Jeffrey Epstein, told the House Oversight Committee that government investigators never interviewed them about their work for him. The testimony raises questions about the depth of the Justice Department's review of Epstein, which the department and the FBI called "exhaustive". The Justice Department has released over 3 million files on Epstein, most heavily redacted, while almost half back many due to victim protection, child sexual abuse depiction, depiction of violence, duplication, attorney-client privilege and other reasons. Both Kahn and Indyke maintain that they did not witness any wrongdoing and have no knowledge of any wrongdoing.
