Run-off set in Jefferson County judge race after crowded Democratic primary

A run-off is set for the Democratic primary in Jefferson County, Arkansas, after a five-man race left no candidate with enough votes to win outright. Unofficial results show attorney Efrem B. Neely leading the field with 2,076 votes, followed by incumbent County Judge Gerald Robinson with 1,776 votes. Robinson emphasized his commitment to economic development and improving financial oversight. The winner will face Republican nominee Nathaniel Todd in the November general election.
