Cottey College in Nevada hosted its second annual Career Conference, inviting alumni back to campus to share their experiences in the workforce. Students and alumni spent the day meeting with alumni who have been working in their fields for several years. Tiara Batoon, a 2018 graduate and now a school psychologist, returned to speak with students and offer guidance. The conference was a way to help students understand how they can use their skills and experiences to further their education. The college has a nearly 90 percent job placement rate after graduation, with top fields including education, psychology, and business.
