Jane Shorting, a mother of two from Gloucestershire, is running the London Marathon and 100 miles home to raise money for the charity Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice. She will finish the race on 26 April before embarking on the three-day journey back to home. Shorting has raised over £62,000 for the hospice and aims to run roughly 34 miles a day from London to Cheltenham, supported by her husband Mark and friends. Despite the loss of her friend, Shorting remains determined to carry on her "legacy of love" by raising funds for the hospital.
