Cleveland Heights author Nina Mandell has written a book about the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees gymnastics team, which has won 23 consecutive state titles. The team's success, along with the coaching approach from Joan and Ron Ganim, led Mandell to follow the high school team through 2022-23 season. The success of the team was attributed to their commitment to an inclusive approach and willingness to allow gymnasts to compete in high school. Mandell's book, "A Fraction of a Point: A Gymnastics Dynasty on the Line," follows the team's journey through high school meets. The author credits the success to the club Gym World in Broadview Heights, where most gymnasts started training.
