LeBron James adds to legacy by embracing role player mentality for Lakers

LeBron James, arguably the greatest player of all time, has embraced the role he's playing behind Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves for the Los Angeles Lakers, despite being asked to be the third option for the team. Despite a successful season, James has been willing to sacrifice for the betterment of the team and its success. He is averaging 21.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 7 assists, while he is shooting a career-low in field goals (15.8 a game). This sacrifice is incredible for a player of James' caliber, especially as he is still capable of playing at a superstar level. Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and Tim Duncan have all been praised for their willingness to accept being a role player. James' focus on the team's success and focus on what is important for the win, rather than individual individual goals.
