UCLA's Xavier Booker led by 13 points. The Bruins were playing without leading scorer Tyler Bilodeau due to a sprained knee injury. UConn's Tarris Reed Jr. contributed with 31 points and 27 rebounds, while Braylon Mullins scored 17 points for UConn.
