Oak Lawn Community High School's Joe McCurdy Receives Career Achievement Award

The Illinois Directors of Student Activities (ISA) has awarded the award to assistant superintendent Joe McCurdy for his contributions to student activity programs. McCurdy served as an assistant principal for activities from 2005 to 2017, expanding student groups, strengthening traditions, and leading conferences. He also served as the sponsor of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) in 2022. The award was given to school administrators who have made significant contributions throughout their careers.
