Olmsted Township Trustees tweak ‘unreasonable’ noise resolution’s unreasonable time restriction

The Olmsted Township Trustees have clarified their recently passed unruly noise resolution, which was not intended to impose burdensome requirements on residents. The resolution specifically prohibits certain types of noise after 7 p.m. if a complaint is made, and if it does not meet an exception. The Board of Trustees repealed the resolution before it could go into effect, with the intention of passing future legislation that includes new times for certain typesof noise exceeding reasonable residential levels.
