New weekend Broadway street closure plan to be implemented Friday

The Metropolitan Police Department is partnering with the Nashville Department of Transportation and the Nashville Fire Department to implement a new weekend Broadway street closure. The closures will occur from 7:30 p.m. to 1 a.m., with traffic control assisting at intersections. The closure is expected to occur between Rep. John Lewis Way and 2nd Avenue.
