Sal Usman, the owner and manager of La Jolla's Copy Cove, has shared a candid conversation about his legacy business. His parents, Mohammed and Munira, opened their business in a storefront in 1993 and he joined them behind the counter. He purchased Copy Cove from his parents when they retired in 2014. Despite adapting to the cost of living and online shopping, he has managed to retain core staff and expand services. He also credits technology upgrades to stay ahead of technological advances.
