Two Jackson County polling places temporarily ran out of paper ballots on Election Day, leading to longer lines for some voters. The affected polling places were Holy Spirit Catholic Church and Hawthorne Hill Elementary School. The voting machines were equipped with all available ballot styles, allowing voters to continue casting ballots one at a time while additional paper ballots were printed and delivered. Additional voting ballots were sent to both locations. Voters who are in line by 7 p.m. will be allowed to vote.
