Cape May native, Matt Kane, has been identified as one of the people killed in a Philadelphia parking garage collapse. The collapse occurred when a stairwell roof at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia collapsed. Kane was an iron worker and member of Ironworkers Local Union 401 working on the garage when the collapse occurred. He is one of two people still missing and presumed dead. The building is unstable and crews need to take it apart to search the entire structure.
