Mortal Shell 2 Gameplay Finally Revealed (and You Can Play as a Sheep)

Mortal Shell 2, one of 2026's new Soulslikes, has been revealed in a new gameplay trailer featuring a new character that can transform into a sheep. The game, originally released in 2020, features four different characters with unique skills and playstyles. The trailer also revealed a larger world to explore, new playable shells, and an arsenal of ranged firearms for players in the sequel's more visceral combat. However, details about the sheep combat are still unclear. The ability to fight enemies as a sheep will undoubtedly make the dark fantasy Souls sequel stand out even more.
