Apple TV's long-awaited series, The Savant, starring Jessica Chastain, will finally arrive on the streaming service this summer, following a seven-month delay after the Charlie Kirk assassination. The series, which follows an undercover investigator played by Chastian who infiltrates domestic extremist groups to prevent major attacks, was initially scheduled to premiere in September 2025 before being abruptly withdrawn from the schedule following Kirk's death. Chastastain had previously voiced frustration over the decision to delay the release, citing the level of violence in the US that appeared to affect the show's release. While no official premiere date has been announced, it is likely to be released in July, nearly 10 months after its initial release date.
