OpenAI is ending its Sora AI video app, which launched in the fall and has been criticized for its use of established intellectual property and actors. The closure raises questions for Disney, which invested in OpenAI in exchange for adding some of its characters to the app. The company's CEO, Sam Altman, is not out of the AI video business but intends to shift his focus to other platforms.
