Veteran Businessman Opens New Liquor Store In Hamden

Ghanshyam K. (Sammy) Patel, a veteran businessman who has owned French Italian Import Liquor Store in Hamden for 23 years, has opened his newest business, G. K. Package Store Wine & Liquor, in December. The business is named after Patel's first and middle initials and aims to create a loyal clientele in the Dixwell neighborhood. The store is located at 1382 Dixie Avenue next to Star Pizza and offers a wide variety of wine, liquor, and cold beers.
