Rory McIlroy, the defending champion of the Masters, has shown signs of a more relaxed attitude at this year's tournament. McIlory began his defense with a 67 on the first day, matching Sam Burns on five-under. In an interview with ESPN's Scott Van Pelt following the round, he expressed his relaxedness and appreciation for the opportunity to be part of the champions' locker room at Augusta National. He also acknowledged that he was playing freer at Augusta following his sudden death win over Justin Rose last year.
