The Jacksonville Symphony will present Puccini's opera Tosca in Jacoby Symphony Hall on April 10 and 12. The opera is a political thriller with themes that continue to resonate even 120 years after its original writing. The preparation, including rehearsals, costumes, make-up, props, and set projections, can be completed in just over two weeks. The stage director, Gregory Keller, has recently retired from an illustrious career at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. The Jacksonville Symphony is one of the only institutions to present opera to the First Coast and features singers from world's top houses.
