Moses Moody, a Warriors player, underwent successful surgery to repair a ruptured patellar tendon in his left knee and is expected to make a full recovery. Moody will be sidelined for the remainder of the 2025-26 season and begin rehabilitation immediately. The injury occurred during a breakaway in Dallas last Monday, ending Moody's career which he was averaging a career-high 12.1 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game. Recovery and rehabilitation takes anywhere from nine to 12 months, meaning Moody will likely miss most or not all of next season. This injury is part of a series of injuries to the Warriors this season, which also saw Jimmy Butler lose a season-ending ACL tear.
