Flames remain hot, beat up on Canucks

The Calgary Flames defeated the Vancouver Canucks 7-3 in a thrilling game, thanks to a four-goal second period from Matt Coronato and Morgan Frost. The Flames have now won 55 consecutive games when scoring four or more goals, the fifth-longest run in league history. Ryan Strome, Olli Maatta and Zayne Parekh all scored goals for the hosts, while Joel Farabee and Adam Klapka scored once for the Flames. Starting goalie Nikita Tolopilo was targeted for four goals on 11 shots before being pulled. The Canucks, which is currently bottom of the league standings, responded with Liam Ohgren, Jake DeBrusk and Nils Hoglander.
