Magic: The Gathering Unveils First Look at New Marvel Super Heroes, ‘The Hobbit’ Crossover Sets

Wizards of the Coast has unveiled multiple new card sets, including a new Marvel Super Heroes set and a new trading card game. The Marvel and Hobbit sets will debut on June 26 and will be part of the Magic: The Gathering-Marvel Super Heroes collection. The new card “The Mind Stone” was unveiled at MagicCon 2026, with actor Paul Bettany adding a Mind Stone gem to a real-life version of the Infinity Gauntlet designed by East Continental Gems for Marvel. The sets are part of Magic's “Universes Beyond” collection, which adds in third-party IP to the popular tabletop trading game.
