Shocking close-up images have been obtained by The Post showing the wreckage of Air Canada Express Flight 8646, which collided with a fire truck at LaGuardia Airport on Sunday. The plane's nose and cockpit were ripped off, and both pilots, Antoine Forest and Mackenzie Gunther, died upon impact. Approximately 40 people, including a flight attendant, were injured in the crash. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is investigating multiple failures related to the incident. The NTSB's chair, Jennifer Homendy, revealed that two personnel in the control tower were performing multiple roles at the time of the crash, which is standard procedure for the midnight shift they were working.
