The WGA West has informed its staff union, the Staff Union, that they have received their final offer on a first contract. The guild accused WGSU members of violence and intimidation during their 71-day strike. The offer comes after extensive efforts to reach agreement through 21 bargaining sessions, including during the strike. WGAW management also highlighted several untenable demands from the staff, including a no-strike clause, seniority as the exclusive factor in promotion decisions, and a "standard union step wage scale". The union has not yet reported any disciplinary actions against staff.
