Portland police bust 11 in Jantzen Beach retail theft crackdown

A Portland police crackdown on retail theft led to 11 arrests and the seizure of $1,000 in recovered stolen merchandise. The arrests were made at Jantzen Beach Center, an outdoor mall with nearly two dozen stores. Police also arrested individuals with outstanding warrants. The department believes that holding down to retail theft will help reduce these crimes for smaller businesses.
