A project to extend the Lincoln Highway Viaduct Improvement Project near 33rd and Cornhusker in Lincoln, Neb., has moved forward. The extension of the bridge over railroad tracks is expected to significantly increase traffic and attract more customers. The project will cost around $125 million, with $25 million coming from taxpayer money and the rest from other grant money. Construction will begin in 2027 and end around 2031.
