Former Golden Knights defenseman Deryk Engelland placed the first bet at the grand opening of Caesars Race & Sportsbook at The Resort at Summerlin. The new sportsbook features a renovated 6,000-square-foot sportsbook, which will add odds board and video wall. The opening ceremony was held at the same venue as the Rampart Casino. Executive members from Caesar and The Resort in Summerlin believe the partnership between the two companies is a good investment due to the low property tax rates in Nevada. The sportsbook will be a great fit for both of these companies and will be convenient for their customers.
