Bentley's First EV Is Still Coming Next Year, but the Brand's Electric Futre Is in Limbo

Bentley's first fully electric model is set to go on sale in early 2027, but its second EV won't arrive before 2030, according to CEO Frank-Steffen Walliser. While a new Bentayga is also in the works, it won't debut until at least 2028 at the earliest. Despite this, Bentley's future electric models are now in limbo. Walliser also revealed that Bentley's next-generation cars will have plug-in hybrid powertrains and exclusive gas-powered cars are also on the horizon. Despite a 5% decrease in deliveries for 2025, Bentley remains profitable for a seventh consecutive year.
