The Kansas City Current team uses cutting-edge grass-growing technology to create ideal growth and recovery conditions for their football pitch. The team uses LED technology from Dutch company SGL to adjust light and heat radiation, which is used to create optimal results for the game. The stadium was named 2025 Professional Sports Field of the Year by the Sports Field Management Association. The women's team will play their football home game against the Utah team on Saturday.
