Marco Odermatt clinches historic 5th consecutive Alpine skiing World Cup overall title

Swiss's Marco Odermatt has clinched his fifth consecutive World Cup overall title, the highest annual prize in ski racing. He currently leads by 632 points over Brazil's Lucas Pinheiro Braathen. Oermatt is the fifth Alpine skier to win five overall titles, after Austrians Marcel Hirscher, Annemarie Moser-Pröll, Mikaela Shiffrin, and Marc Girardelli of Luxembourg. All of these titles were won with margins of at least 400 points.
