New concert series in East Palo Alto shines a light on Bay Area musicians

EPACENTER's summer concert series, featuring Bay Area artists, is set to debut on May 9 with Pete Escovedo, a percussionist known for his work with Santana, Azteca, and his own orchestra. The series also features Sheila E. whose nonprofit program Elevate Oakland promotes young artists and music education. The performances will be followed by a fundraiser for the arts center. Tickets for the Sunset Concerts are $75 general, $125 VIP and $25 for East Palo Alto residents with ID on entry.
