Mavs CEO Reveals City Hall Arena Talks Began "Over a Year Ago"

The Dallas Mavericks' CEO, Rick Welts, revealed that discussions regarding the future of 1500 Marilla Street began over a year ago. The revelation prompted questions about whether City Manager Kimberly Bizor Tolbert had consulted with the team about moving out of the building. The discussions have also been discussed by the Dallas Stars and the city manager.
