The partially recognized Horn of Africa nation, Somaliland, has called for the extradition of Rep. Ilhan Omar to the US after Vice President JD Vance claimed she committed immigration fraud. The allegations were made during a podcast discussion about Omar's possible ties to human services fraud in Minnesota, which is connected to some members of the Somali community. Most countries, including the US, do not formally recognize Somaland as an independent country. Vance also promised that the White House would "go after" Omar.
