Arkansas Sen. Kim Hammer (R), who received support from several top Republican officials, is projected to win the GOP primary runoff for Arkansas secretary of state, defeating Republican Bryan Norris. Norris, a retired Army first sergeant and businessman, had the backing of MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell and former President Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn. Neither candidate had won more than half of the vote in the March 3 primary. On the campaign trail, Norris has been a key advocate for hand-counted paper ballots, while Hammer has introduced legislation requiring paper ballots to be compatible with electronic vote tabulation devices.
