Georgia won’t switch to Atlantic Standard Time after all

The House of Representatives has ended a bill aimed at moving Georgia to a new time zone, ending the process of changing the clocks twice per year. The bill would have required permission from the Trump administration to permanently relocate the state to Atlantic Standard Time. This would have allowed for the state's continued participation in daylight saving.
