Welsh artist Amy Swann, known for her 'twig style' Easter tree creations, has become a popular trend for Easter celebrations. Her work is sold across the UK, including in London's Fortnum and Mason. Swann credits her environment as a child with shaping her artistic approach, with its strong emphasis on nature. She also credits her mother's good taste in books as her inspiration. After learning about local traditions and folklore, she learned a crucial part of her upbringing to understand Welshness. She did a degree in printed textiles at Loughborough University and then taught visual arts at a college in Chester for 12 years. After discovering she was pregnant with twins, she started sculpting flowers from materials and friends' friends' houses.
