Wharton man with disabilities beaten and robbed by 6 juveniles, police say

Six juveniles are facing charges for beating and robbing a man with disabilities, according to Wharton police. The victim, Darrell Norman Williams, was riding his bike when a group of boys began throwing objects at him and eventually knocking him to the ground. The attackers then ripped apart the bottom half of Williams' pants and took his bicycle and shoes. Four of the suspects are being held in juvenile detention while the other two are released to their parents.
