Severe weather is possible in the Indianapolis area during the NCAA Final Four weekend. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a warning for strong to severe storms on Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4, with the main threats being damaging winds, hail and heavy rain. The weather is expected to clear up by Sunday, April 5, with partly sunny skies and temperatures in the 50s. The isolated storms are most likely during the afternoon and evening. The main threat is heavy rainfall, which could cause localized flooding. NWS Indianapolis lists the following Indiana counties as potential models.
