The executive producers of "Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat," Jake Szymanski and director Lee Eisenberg, have revealed that they nearly ruined the season finale of their hit TV show "Company Retreat" by using a loose script to fool an oblivious main character, Anthony Norman, into believing his workplace antics were real. The show, about hot sauce company employees on a corporate getaway, grew from a courthouse set on "Juries Duty" to a multi-acre camping lodge and had 48 cameras and 3,600 hours of footage. The finale revealed that Norman, who had only worked at Rockin' Grandmas Hot Sauce for two weeks, grew close to his fictional co-workers and fought to keep them independent from Triukas Group, an unfriendly conglomerate. Despite this, the cast revealed the truth to Norman and he was awarded $150,000. The executive producers also revealed that the show nearly fell apart when they landed Sia for the talent show and which actor nearly ruined their show by using their wrong name.
