Officer, suspect wounded in shooting near Bayfront Park in downtown Miami during Ultra weekend

A police shooting in downtown Miami has left both an officer and a suspect wounded, occurring during the Ultra Music Festival. The incident occurred around 7 a.m. when officers responded to a report of a man acting erratically at the Eve Hotel. After using a Taser, an officer opened fire on the man, causing non-life-threatening injuries. Both are being treated at Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center. The investigation is ongoing.
