Former Detroit Lions player Frank Ragnow will have to return part of his signing bonus after retiring from the NFL at age 29. Jason Kelce, a Monday Night Countdown analyst, defended Ragnow's decision, stating that he likely retired voluntarily and that he was not declared medically unfit to play by a doctor, which allows the team to request a prorated amount of his bonus back. The Lions team president, Rod Wood, has not disclosed how much Ragnow must return, but explained that it's "not paying back their money, they're returning our money"
