Miami University quarterback Carson Beck was the first player off the board in the third round of the NFL draft, with the Arizona Cardinals picking him as the first in consecutive years. This makes him the first UM quarterback to be drafted in back-to-back years since Craig Erickson and Gino Toretta were drafted in 1992 and 1993. Markel Bell was the next Hurricane selected by the Philadelphia Eagles, with Bell earning an 82.1 pass-blocking grade and not allowing a sack all season. Jakobe Thomas was the final Miami player picked, going to the Minnesota Vikings with the 98th pick.
