The New York Jets have added defensive tackle Darrell Jackson Jr. to their roster, following a trade with the Bengals and a deal with Cincinnati. Jackson, who started 24 games for FSU last season, is a lengthy player with 11-inch hands and an 86-inch wingspan. The Jets have been focusing on improving their run defense after finishing 29th in the league last season. Jackson's physicality and ability to tackle the quarterback can help them in the run game, but his speed and athleticism may have limited him. He joins Geno Smith, Brady Cook and Bailey Zappe in the Jets' quarterback room.
