California Teacher ID’d in White House Correspondents’ Dinner Shooting

Authorities have identified the shooter as 31-year-old Cole Allen of Torrance, California, who put together a long firearm before moving towards the ballroom and began shooting near the event's security screening area. The shooting occurred shortly after 8:30 p.m. A Secret Service agent was shot at close range and is expected to recover.
