Oil prices rise in aftermath of Iran strikes

GAS prices have risen after the weekend's attacks by the U.S. and Israel on Iran, which are expected to have an impact on the price of gas. Oil analysts predict that consumers may notice a significant increase in gas prices in the long run, with the national average expected to exceed $3 per gallon for the first time in 2026. Eight countries in OPEC+ plan to increase production of crude oil by around 206,000 barrels per day in April, following the OPEC meeting before the strikes began. Currently, the national price average for gas is $2.99 per gallon.
