The Georgia special election to replace Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) in Congress will go to a runoff after no candidate received a majority of voter support. Democrat Shawn Harris, a veteran who served in Afghanistan, was the top vote-getter in the nonpartisan race to represent Georgia's 14th Congressional District in Washington. Harris, who lost to Greene in 2024, will face Republican Clay Fuller in the April 7 runoff. Fuller, who was endorsed by President Trump, received 33.5% of the vote. State Sen. Colton Moore received less than 10% of votes among Republicans.
