East Greenwich dentist launches CD2 campaign, setting up rare Republican primary

Dr. Stephen Skoly, a dentist known for his defiance of the Rhode Island COVID-19 vaccine mandate, has launched his campaign for the 2nd Congressional District in East Greenwich. He will be the second Republican vying to defeat Democratic U.S. Rep. Seth Magaziner. Skoly's campaign includes medical freedom as one of the tenets of his campaign, promoting energy affordability, economic development and restoring trust in government. He had not yet raised or spent any money on his campaign.
