Metallica frontman James Hetfield, 62, has proposed to girlfriend Adriana Gillett, 45, while swimming with whale sharks. The couple's engagement comes just four years after Hetfeld split from his wife of 25 years, Francesca Tomasi, citing irreconcilable differences. The announcement was posted on Gilleett's Instagram account. Hetfields and Gillelets started dating in 2023. The band is set to perform eight shows in Las Vegas in October.
